1. General

This website is operated by Afourj (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
By using this site, you agree to comply with all applicable Malaysian laws and our stated policies.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms without prior notice.

2. Product Categories

Afourj offers two main product types:

Handcrafted Perfumes (Standard Collection): Ready-to-wear fragrances developed and bottled by Afourj.
DIY Perfume Experience: Personalized, small-batch perfumes handcrafted by or with the customer, inspired by our scent library.

Both products are made in small quantities with artisanal precision.
Slight variations in color, scent strength, or texture are natural and not considered product defects.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Prices and promotions are subject to change without prior notice.
Full payment is required upon checkout to confirm your order.

4. Orders & Production Time

For DIY perfumes, please allow up to 2 weeks for scent maturation before dispatch.
Standard perfumes are usually shipped within 3–5 working days.
If a product is out of stock, we will contact you to offer a replacement or refund.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped within Malaysia only.
We use verified courier partners, but Afourj is not responsible for delays or damages caused during transit.
Customers are encouraged to record an unboxing video as proof in case of damage or incorrect delivery.

6. Returns & Exchanges

Due to hygiene and fragrance sensitivity reasons:

No returns or exchanges are accepted for opened or used perfume products.
Claims for defective or incorrect items must be made within 48 hours after delivery, supported with photo or video proof.
DIY perfumes are non-refundable and non-returnable, as each formula is made to order and customized.

7. Storage & Usage

All Afourj perfumes should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
DIY perfumes may evolve slightly over time — this is a natural process of handcrafted maturation.
Avoid spraying directly on sensitive skin or fabrics.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, formulas, product names, and visual materials on this website are the exclusive intellectual property of Afourj.
Reproduction, resale, or commercial use without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal data is collected and processed in compliance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA 2010).
We will never sell or share your information with unauthorized third parties.

10. Limitation of Liability

Afourj shall not be held responsible for:

Individual scent sensitivity or allergic reactions
Changes in perfume character over time due to improper storage
Courier delays, losses, or damage once the parcel is in transit

All perfumes are intended for external use only.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of Malaysia.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
